It's countdown time until we head off to the airport once again, this time to board a Virgin Australia flight to New York, via LA. To say I'm excited is an understatement. We've been planning this trip for at least 6 months, accumulating every snippet and full page spread from travel columns and personal recommendations. Our folder is bulging with lists of cafes, restaurants, bars and the odd speakeasy - can you see a theme here ? oh and of course we're adding the cul-cha in between meals/drinks.
Being a tourist in NY is something we've each experienced on separate occasions, but this is our first time together in the Big Apple. We both agreed we'd left feeling our previous visits had been much too brief, this time we're going to take it all in - well a bit more of it anyway.
